Great start to the season by Brighton although last weekend’s goalless home game against Ipswich was probably not what the Seagulls fans were hoping for. The absence of an injured Joao Pedro was more than visible, and the hope is that the striker is back against Forest. Carlos Baleba was one of Brighton’s best against Town, and the midfielder was also very convincing when there was advancement in the cup on Wednesday. Nottingham Forest were left with little chance against Liverpool, but put all advance tips to shame. Steady defending and a great goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi ensured a first Forest victory at Anfield in 55 years. It is still very early, but it is clear that people are slowly beginning to regret their table tip.
