Super substitute Jhon Duran was once again the hero. In the Premier League, they’ve only lost to Arsenal but were put under heavy pressure by Ipswich, with a 2-2 draw at Portman Road last weekend. Villa also suffered defeats both home and away against Manchester United last season. John McGinn is the latest addition to the injury list.

Another disappointment followed midweek with a 3-3 draw against Porto. Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo are doubtful for Sunday.
